The 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of NRB Islamic Life Insurance PLC was held on September 26, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the company's Head Office Board Room in Dhaka. Mr. Kibria Golam Mohammad, Chairman of the company, presided over the meeting.
Among the respected shareholders, Mr. M. Mahfuzur Rahman, Mr. Aftab Ahmed, Ms. Fariya Mustafiz Ornisha (Representative: Wazirpur Fish Park Ltd.), Mr. Arif Sikder (Representative: Ambala IT), Mr. Md. Jamal Uddin (Representative: Liberty Living Ltd.), and Mr. Md. Nurul Azim Rifat attended the meeting (both physically and virtually).
The meeting was also attended by the company's Managing Director & CEO, Mr. Md. Shah Jamal Howlader, and CFO, Mr. Mohammad Abu Hasan. The proceedings were conducted by the Company Secretary, Mr. Md. Salahuddin.
The Annual Report for the year 2025 was presented and duly approved at the meeting. One-third of the existing directors retired and were re-elected, and auditors were appointed for the year 2026. CEO Mr. Md. Shah Jamal Howlader presented the company's future plans. The shareholders expressed satisfaction with the business performance and overall success of the company, offering their thanks to the sales, marketing, and management teams.
The meeting concluded with a prayer (Dua and Munajat) for the continuous success and prosperity of the company.
